So Brennan has been pretty bad sick for about 2 weeks now. He has been running a fever off and on for about 3 or more weeks. We have been to the doctor 3 times and gone through 3 different medications. This final antibiotic seems to have helped a lot. He was fever free without Tylenol for the first time on Friday. Ran another one on Saturday, but generally seems to be feeling much better. He was at the point where he would just sit on the couch or bed with a pacy and blanket. Watching Elmo seemed to give some entertainment/distraction. Ben's mom and my mom came at different times last week b/c Brennan was a full time job and someone had to help with Knox. Needless to say, as you other mommies know, it was hard. We were in just-survive-the-day mode. But now we are hopefully on the continual upswing! I am thankful however, that nothing seemed to be life threatening. I have so many friends who are going through much harder stuff right now!
I am reading a book recommended by my doctor called "the red sea rules". I will share a snip then let you go. i pray and hope that your days and weeks have been filled with love, encouragement, joy and HEALTH!
